Responsive web design for Flourish marketing site.

Objectives

  • Transition from a single-product offering to a scalable platform that supports multiple solutions, beginning with two core products while maintaining flexibility for future expansion.

  • Effectively communicate with two distinct audiences: Advisors (buyer and user) and Clients (end user).

  • Strengthen and evolve the Flourish brand to accomodate an expanding suite of products.

Process

Project kickoff - engage with stakeholders and product leadership to understand business objectives and product hypotheses.

Onboarding User Flow - outline the essential steps, decisions, and requirements for onboarding a new user, taking into account user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.

Developing Wireframes - The wireframing process facilitates the emergence of new questions and provides the team with a common visual reference to guide discussions and ideas.

Data Visualization - Given the vast amount of numerical data to convey, selecting the most effective data visualization is crucial. This process entails prioritizing information, anticipating the questions users may seek to answer, and addressing those inquiries effectively.

Information Architecture & Mental Modeling - We promptly recognized that the current structure of the app, along with the investment process itself, was too restrictive for the straightforward onboarding concept we aimed to implement. Consequently, modifications to the site's information architecture were necessary, providing an opportunity to make adjustments to the navigation to more closely align with the user's mental model.

Development-ready Designs - Final visual designs were crafted using existing components and styles wherever possible. I collaborated closely with the development lead to ensure a smooth transition from the Figma prototype to a functional user interface.
